Payment/Sign-up/Cancellation Policies

-Class sizes are small and they fill quickly. Full payment is due by the first class, unless a payment plan has been established. Class slots cannot be held without a deposit of at least half the tuition. We accept payment by cash, check or credit card. We do not prorate classes and we do not have make-up classes.

-If Stonybrook cancels a class then the full tuition will be refunded or the tuition can be applied towards a different class.

-Gift certificates, vouchers and coupons are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

-Our workshops and classes require at least three students. If the minimum isn’t met three days before workshops or a week before classes, we’ll send you an email update. If you know a friend who’d like to join then we can continue as scheduled. If you are registered for a class or workshop and do not receive a confirmation/reminder email, please contact us to confirm.

Multi-Week Classes:

-Cancellation at 7 days prior to the first class will result in a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.

Cancellation at 6 days or less will result in a refund of 50% tuition or the full tuition can be used towards a different class within 12 months. The student is responsible for any differences in tuition or materials cost.

-Students who neglect to cancel prior to the first class will have the option of transferring their tuition to another class or receiving a 50% refund. NO refunds will be made after the first class runs. Please make sure you fully understand what you are registering for prior to the class.

1 Day Workshops:

-Cancellations at least 48 hours prior to the workshop will result in a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Students can opt out of a full refund to transfer to another workshop. Students will be required to pay the difference. There will be no refund if the student does not show up for the class.
