Stonybrook Fine Arts is a small school of qualified and dedicated artisans who provide education in a variety of sculptural media with a focus on jewelry, welding, metal casting, stone carving, mold making and live figure modeling. Our intimate classes are suited for all levels of skill.
We have intensive classes for teens during the summer. Teens are permitted in adult classes as well with parent/guardian permission. We also offer services in art casting and some custom steel fabrications. We do not do repair work.
Our classes typically run in ten week cycles for three hours per session. During the summers we continuously offer one and two week Teen Intensive classes from 9am – 4pm. Both Teen and Adult students take advantage of our unique relationship with the Museum of Fine Arts and receive access to the MFA itself. In addition to our regular classes, we also offer special workshops and intensives with our current teachers and other visiting artists.
We are open for business and admissions Monday – Friday and have limited bench time available by appointment. Please check out our “classes”and ‘workshops” for a list of times, prices, and availability. Classes are reserved on a first come basis and class sizes are limited to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve.
We are located just a few short blocks from the Stonybrook T stop. We have limited parking available in our lot, but there is ample street parking in the area.
